In this example, I am going to type in the word “termination” as shown in the following screen clip:
So after you initiate the actual search, you will see a list of categories of document types returned by the Heartland HRIS system search as shown below. In this search, it came up with 10 different categories of document types, and notice that in the very first one, it has expanded to show that for this search term of “termination”, it provides the manager with an option to view a 2 minute HR video which explains a summary of key points about termination, for the viewer to educate himself/herself about the particular topic of termination meetings.
Likewise if we are to look at the checklist category of documents, you will see a number of useful checklists relating to terminating an employee, that could be useful to a small business owner when undertaking this task.
